What is The Concept Room?

The Concept Room is essentially DABS' take on the help center! The Concept Room has a set schedule (posted to the right) where support for certain courses is available at different times of the week. Course support is provided by student volunteers who have taken the specific courses themselves.

Please note: the concept room is not in place for volunteers to do your work for you, so please do not expect volunteers to do so. We aim to strickly follow Dalhousie's Academic Integrity Policy.

Become a Volunteer at The Concept Room

In order for the concept room to run, it relies heavily on volunteers.... which could include you! Volunteers come to the concept room to provide support to students in courses they are interested in helping with. You could help with 4 courses, or just 1 if you'd like! Please keep in mind, that volunteers are needed for consistent times each week; this is explained more in the sign-up form. A big bonus to being a volunteer is that you can add the role to your CCR (Curriculum Committee Record)! If interested, click on the button below to access the sign-up form to become a volunteer.
